4.  Distribution and Service Providers

The newsletter is sent via an email service provider that complies with data protection regulations and acts as a data processor in accordance with Article 28 of the DSGVO. Your data will be processed exclusively for this purpose. Details are set out in our privacy policy.

5. Legal Basis

The legal basis for processing your data is your explicit consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the DSGVO and Section 7(2)(3) of the German Unfair Commercial Practices Act (UWG). Your personal data will be stored until you inform us in writing that it should be deleted.

6. Tracking Technologie

The newsletters contain tracking pixels, also known as “web beacons”, provided by the company sending the newsletter. These small image files make it possible to detect whether and when an email has been opened. Through unique links, we can determine whether links in the newsletter have been clicked.

The information is used to measure the success of the newsletters, optimise their content and tailor future mailings more closely to the interests of the recipients. Recipients may withdraw their consent to the use of tracking technology at any time with future effect, for example via the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter. Unsubscribing from the newsletter automatically constitutes a withdrawal of consent.
