The house with a pitched roof: the classic single-family house
Convince yourself of how modern even classics can be.
Most of our designs feature a roof pitch of 25° to 45° and jamb wall heights of 50 to 200 cm. That means that they have a ground floor and a loft with varying roof slopes and therefore more or less space in the rooms on the upper floor.
In particular, families with children love our prefabricated Variant model, the classic house with pitched roof, since the ceiling slopes really give a special flair to several rooms, such as the children’s rooms, for example.
If you prefer a house with pitched roof without ceiling slopes, Variant 169 with its two full storeys offers plenty of living space.
With our house finder, you can easily search for your dream home with pitched roof, with various roof pitches and in different sizes. Simply select the type of house you’re interested in and the amount of living space, and be inspired by our suggestions for houses with a pitched roof.
The first number in the name of each prefabricated house with pitched roof describes the roof pitch in degrees, while the second number provides information on the amount of living space in square metres.

“If you wish to create plenty of living space on a small building plot, you should definitely include a high jamb wall or even a second full storey in the layout.”

The classic two-storey house with generous amounts of living space
house with
pitched roof
With their generous living space of up to 275 square metres, the prefabricated models of our Variant series are particularly suited to families that love the classic living concept of a two-storey single-family house with a pitched roof and plenty of space.
The Variant 45-175, with 175 square metres of living space, already has enough space for up to three children’s rooms.
Subsidy-eligible granny flat possible
The prefabricated house of the Variant series is also very well suited for combining working and living, or for having a separate, subsidy-eligible granny flat. This is because space for a separate entrance can be easily created, thanks to their generous amount of living space and our flexible planning options.
Prefabricated house – yes, but not a pitched roof?
Were you unable to find your dream home amongst our houses with pitched roof? Take a look at our other house types – perhaps a modern house with pent roof, a beautiful urban villa or a multi-family house would suit you better?
